CEO
Jeff Hudson is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of leadership and management experience in information technology and security management. Jeff has spent a significant portion of his career developing and delivering leading-edge technology solutions for financial services and other Fortune-ranked organizations and government agencies.
Prior to joining Venafi, he was the CEO of Vhayu Technologies Corp., CEO and cofounder of MS2, senior vice president of corporate development at Informix Software, and CEO of Visioneer. Jeff speaks regularly to global audiences at technology and business conferences worldwide. He earned a bachelor’s degree in communications at the University of California, Davis.
CTO & Chief Architect
Peter is responsible for driving the company’s technology strategy and product architecture, working closely with product management and engineering. Actively involved in standards bodies on behalf of Venafi, he is a voting member of the Oasis Key Management Interoperability Protocol (KMIP) technical committee.
Peter brings more than 17 years of award-winning enterprise software engineering experience to Venafi. Prior to joining the company, he was the lead UI architect for the Mono open source project and chief architect for both the Secure Identity Management (SIM) and Collaboration Services at Novell.
Peter began his career at Siemens-Nixdorf AG in Augsburg, Germany. He holds two U.S. patents and has a third pending.
CFO
Francois leads the global finance organization, and he is putting a wealth of experience to work to help drive Venafi’s growth and development as the world’s leading protector of machine identities for the Global 5000.
Francois has spent his career in the finance organizations of the world’s top growth technology companies. Before joining Venafi, he was CFO of Trimble Navigation, CFO of global business units at VMware, vice president of finance at Google and director of finance at Apple. He also held senior positions at Business Objects and Hyperion
Francois holds a master’s degree in engineering from Institut Catholique d’Arts et Metiers (ICAM) in France and an MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA.
Chief Legal and People Officer
As Chief Legal and People Officer, Melissa is responsible for all legal affairs for the company as well as the global people strategy that propels Venafi’s team performance and vibrant company culture. Melissa is deeply committed to sustaining Venafi’s special culture and building collaborative partnerships cross functionally to drive success of the Venafi team and its customers, partners, suppliers and other stakeholders.
Melissa brings to Venafi 20 plus years of technology and software industry experience. She has worked with the largest companies in the world as well as federal and state government entities in multiple capacities. Prior to joining Venafi, Melissa held roles of increasing responsibility at Raytheon, RSA Security, and Fox Technologies, where she provided leadership in areas of legal operations, contracts management, professional and customer services, and sales
CMO
Elizabeth is the voice of the company, leading positioning, branding and awareness, public relations, market research, analyst relations, market strategy and go-to-market execution. She is an accomplished global marketing executive with over 25 years of experience in high technology, including more than a decade in the cybersecurity industry. She has developed pragmatic, effective strategies that have accelerated growth and built the brands of several leading technology and cybersecurity firms. Prior to joining Venafi, Elizabeth was vice president of marketing and business development for Tripwire and held executive marketing roles at nCircle and Extensity.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from University of South Carolina, Darla Moore School of Business.
VP, Customer Support
Prior to joining Venafi, Dave held a variety of service management positions at Novell in Utah, San Jose and Japan. Under Dave’s leadership, Novell Technical Support Centers became SCP certified in 2005, won the 2007 HDI “Team Excellence” award, and entered the Association of Support Professionals (ASP) Hall of Fame by being recognized among “Ten Best Web Support Sites” for four consecutive years from 2007 to 2010.
He has been chairman of the board for the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce and served on boards for the Consortium for Service Innovation, Utah Technology Council and Timpanogos Regional Hospital. Dave earned a B.S. in computer science from Brigham Young University and has completed post-graduate business courses, including Harvard’s General Manager Program.
Chief Product Officer
Aaron is the Chief Product Officer at Venafi, and is responsible for defining our vision, strategy, roadmap and product portfolio for Machine Identity Protection.
Over the last 13 years, he has provided products & strategy leadership to a wide range of enterprise software companies. Prior to joining Venafi, Aaron was most recently the Senior Vice President of Products & Marketing at Covisint, an early pioneer in business-to-business federated Identity and Access Management (IAM). At EMC, he served as the Vice President of Products, SaaS Solutions, Engineering Operations, and Enablement for the Information Intelligence Group (IIG), a $750M portfolio of enterprise content management software products. At Symantec, he led several enterprise security product lines, including data loss prevention, encryption, IT GRC, and storage management.
At McKinsey & Company, Aaron counseled high tech and telecommunications executives on strategy, sales & marketing and operations, and he has also held leadership positions at Morgan Stanley and Accenture, and served as an officer in the United States Air Force.
Aaron holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, and a bachelor’s degree with highest honors from North Carolina State University in electrical and computer engineering.
VP, Security Strategy & Threat Intelligence
Kevin is responsible for security strategy and threat intelligence at Venafi. He brings more than 16 years of experience in IT security with leading security and privacy leaders, including RSA Security, Thales, PGP Corporation, IronKey, CipherCloud, NCipher, and Xcert.
Kevin has authored several books and is often sought after for comment by the world’s leading media, such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Forbes, Fortune, BBC, Suddeutsche Zeitung, USA Today, Associated Press, Guardian and The Telegraph, along with security press including SC Magazine, Dark Reading and Network World. Kevin has a B.S. in chemistry from the College of William and Mary and an MBA from Wake Forest University.
VP WW Customer Security Strategy & Solutions
Mike Dodson is a Silicon Valley veteran with 25 years of experience. He has founded five companies which have collectively created hundreds of jobs, hundreds of millions in annual revenue and have had positive impacts on the world. His work has helped to bring better security and privacy to enterprise software, consumer products, embedded systems, medical devices and mobile computing
Mike is currently leading the VP of Worldwide Customer Security Strategy at Venafi where his team designs solutions to secure and protect keys and certificates for the largest corporations and governments in the world.
VP of Engineering
Shivajee Samdarshi is the VP of Engineering at Venafi. In this role he leads the R&D effort for all of Venafi's products. He has over 25 years of experience in developing mission critical software that is currently being used by some of the world’s leading companies in finance, transportation, healthcare etc. Prior to Venafi, Shivajee was the SVP of Engineering at WhiteHat Security and VP of Engineering at TIBCO Software. Shivajee earned his BS in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology and an MS in Computer Science from Kansas State University.
Chief Revenue Officer
Brad brings a wealth of experience to Venafi in his capacity as Chief Revenue Officer. He deeply believes in making customers successful and creating strong partnerships with customers, delivers that success. He resonates with and exhibits a full embrace of the Venafi culture of customer success, protecting customers as Warriors, and leadership which is defined by the HEART values.
Brad has 20+ years of leadership experience in sales management, marketing, business development, and sales operations. Brad most recently was CRO for Talend when they went through the process of becoming a public company. He is deeply experienced in leading sales organizations selling to the largest and most complex customers around the globe.

THIS IS A LEGALLY-BINDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE END USER OF THE SERVICE (“YOU” OR “YOUR”) AND VENAFI, INC. ("VENAFI" OR “OUR”). BY ACCEPTING THIS AGREEMENT, EITHER BY CLICKING A BOX INDICATING YOUR ACCEPTANCE AND/OR ACTIVATING AND USING THE VENAFI CLOUD SERVICE FOR WHICH YOU HAVE REGISTERED, YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU ARE ENTERING INTO THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF A COMPANY OR OTHER LEGAL ENTITY, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO BIND SUCH ENTITY AND ITS AFFILIATES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, IN WHICH CASE THE TERMS "YOU" OR ¬"YOUR" SHALL REFER TO SUCH ENTITY AND ITS AFFILIATES. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SUCH AUTHORITY, OR IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU MUST NOT ACCEPT THIS AGREEMENT AND MAY NOT USE THE SERVICE. ANY SIGNED WRITING BETWEEN YOU AND VENAFI OR SEPARATE CLICK THROUGH AGREEMENT BETWEEN YOU AND VENAFI THAT RELATES TO THE SERVICE SHALL TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER THIS AGREEEMNT.
You shall not access the Service if You are Our competitor or if You are acting as a representative or agent of a competitor, except with Our prior written consent. For the purposes of this Agreement, a “competitor” is a provider of machine identity protection services or compliance monitoring other than Venafi. In addition, You shall not access the Service for purposes of monitoring its availability, performance or functionality, or for any other benchmarking or competitive purposes, and You shall not perform security vulnerability assessments or penetration tests without the express written consent of Venafi. You agree that You shall only access and use the Service for bona fide machine identity protection services and compliance monitoring.
This Agreement is effective between You and Venafi as of the date of Your accepting this Agreement. Venafi reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to revise, update, change, modify, add to, supplement, or delete certain terms of this Agreement for any reason. Such changes will be effective with or, as applicable, without prior notice to You. You can review the most current version of this Agreement at https://www.venafi.com/venafi-cloud-EULA. You are responsible for checking this Agreement periodically for changes. If any future changes to this Agreement are unacceptable to You or cause You to no longer be in agreement or compliance with this Agreement, You may terminate this Agreement in accordance with Section 8 and must immediately discontinue Your use of the Services. Your continued use of the Services following any revision to this Agreement constitutes Your complete and irrevocable acceptance of any and all such changes.
The Venafi Cloud service includes several products that are operated by Venafi as software as a service, each of which is separately licensed pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and each of which is considered a Service under this Agreement. This Agreement applies to each such Service for which you use, access or for which you have registered.

VENAFI CLOUD SERVICE

This is a legal agreement between the end user (“You”) and Venafi, Inc. ("Venafi" or “our”). This Agreement was last updated on April 12, 2017. It is effective between You and Venafi as of the date of Your accepting this Agreement.
The Venafi Cloud Service includes two separate services that are operated by Venafi as software as a service, each of which is separately licensed pursuant to the terms and conditions of this Agreement and each of which is considered a Service under this Agreement: the Venafi Cloud Risk Assessment Service or the Venafi Cloud for DevOps Service. Your right to use either Service is dependent on the Service for which You have registered with Venafi to use.
This License is effective until terminated as set forth herein or the License Term expires and is not otherwise renewed by the parties. Venafi may terminate this Agreement and/or the License at any time with or without written notice to You if You fail to comply with any term or condition of this Agreement or if Venafi ceases to make the Service available to end users. You may terminate this Agreement at any time on written notice to Venafi. Upon any termination or expiration of this Agreement or the License, You agree to cease all use of the Service if the License is not otherwise renewed or reinstated. Upon termination, Venafi may also enforce any rights provided by law. The provisions of this Agreement that protect the proprietary rights of Venafi will continue in force after termination.
This Agreement shall be governed by, and any arbitration hereunder shall apply, the laws of the State of Utah, excluding (a) its conflicts of laws principles; (b) the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; (c) the 1974 Convention on the Limitation Period in the International Sale of Goods; and (d) the Protocol amending the 1974 Convention, done at Vienna April 11, 1980.
